Ok, so I’ve finally found some time to write about the last couple days on a personal note rather than just standard posts.
Thursday was good fun! It started on a shakey note when I woke up at 10h30 realising that we had a big meeting at work at 11h00, fortunately I managed to make it on time and things were running slightly late at work, so it worked out nicely for me. The meeting was great, it’s always fantastic to work with people who are not scared of their employers and opinions are voiced – all in all we covered tons of things and there’s so much positive movement happening. After the meeting, my lovely directors took the company out for lunch at Greens (can’t find a link to their website), just off Kloof Rd. The menu there is fantastic – from the burgers to pastas to sandwiches to pizzas, but the difference is, the food isn’t just standard, toppings are interesting, and there’s an assortment of pizzas with blue cheese’s, etc. which makes it a little cooler than your usual pop in for a lunch place. The lunch was delicious and I finally got a chance to talk to some of my colleagues on a more personal level, rather than always talking about work.
The afternoon went quickly and I was home nice and early, which was ideal as I had a couple of things to sort out. I mentioned my competition, where I’m giveing away a free iPod Touch, we’ve seen some fantastic traffic to the website and a massive collection of people from all over the world signing up! I have now added an extra feature to the site where you can stand a higher chance of winning, click here to take a look. Any support would be really appreciated! Talking about sweepstakes and competitions, a mate of mine runs a fantastic competition blog and I would like to thank him for mentioning my competition – thanks bud! His other website, which I visit on a regular basis is about dating, relationships and love is Romance Tracker – head on over and get some advice for your love life!
Today was an interesting day, Brendon and I were at work fairly early and the Internet was unfortunately down, so we headed over to Seattle Coffee Co to do all our work. We sat there working from early morning all the way until 15h00 – interesting experience! What is also interesting is the amount of work I managed to get through while I was there – I honestly think I did more work than ever before.. strange? I think so. After Seattle, I had a meeting with one of the directors and was told so pretty cool news about being sort of front man for the Marketing Department, which is such a big deal to me, because as much as I love online marketing and web development, Project Management is something I aim to get into more and more! Hopefully this will be my first proper chance!
In and between all these things, I have managed to keep up to date with all the new seasons of series! Desperate Housewives, Heroes, How I Met Your Mother, Prison Break, Entourage, House, Greys Anatomy and Weeds, I think that’s all of them :) All the seasons are really gripping this time round and I’m hooked on them all, which makes it hard to keep track of everything! I’ve also managed to get a couple good games of poker in. I am up about R500 over the last couple of days – nice income, could it ever be passive? ;)
I was invited by JT and Alex to head through to Hemisphere this evening and I really wanted to go, but I find myself almost asleep already and just think it would be a wise idea not to head out and get completely smashed, otherwise I can see this whole weekend being extremely unproductive and the beginning of next week being painful. So, I am going to do a couple more things online and watch a couple episodes of Full Tilt Poker – Learn from the Pros and then hit the sack!
I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
P.s. Yes, I’m still listing to Mika – Happy Ending! (I can just see Brendon and JT shaking their heads, haha)

Sounds like quite a busy day…
It’s been a couple of fantastic days :)
