MFW Clothing Company is an import and distribution company for progressive streetwear brands such as Mooks, Carhartt, Tonite and Pointer. MFW is seeking a junior graphic designer to join their team to work on various projects including website design and an in-house promotional magazine.
Work experience is a bonus but not essential for recent graduates, however they must have a creative portfolio and have a feel for the type of brands we manage.
You will work in a laid back and fun office with a small and easy going team. Projects that you will be working on are fresh and new and you will experience a lot of creative freedom. You will need to be diligent in managing your own time and workload and must be able to solve problems independently.

I have been trying for months to find a place that would accept a junior designer who does not have years of experience. Since i did my photoshop course i eat, dream and sleep designing. I always did designs in powerpoint, paintshop pro and obviously paint…but photoshop opened a whole new world for me. I design the whole day at work, i design at home and when i have nothing to design then i look for websites that look horrible and then i redesign them the way i would have liked it (but never give it to them though).

I’m surprised you can’t find a job, are you familiar with designing PSD/PNG layouts for websites, in other words, full website layouts taking into account web standards and css requirements?
yes, i have a fair understanding of everything, what i feel unsure about or dont know i search for tutorials and information. I have 7 files full of info about anything and everything concerning designing.
You should not have a problem finding a job if you can create beautiful websites which pertain to web standards!
One day i will find something…im waiting patiently for the right one…
I’ll just spend the rest of the time perfecting my skills and learning new things!
