I have to confess that using the spellcheck is something that I haven’t been doing (hope my old schoolteachers aren’t reading this!) – it’s an easy habit to get into, and will make my blog look more professional – thanks for the tip.

I’ve been inspired by this post to set up my top 8 blogging tips (see link).

Something that has to be crucial is first of all your grammar. If your grammar is shocking, you will lose many readers for good. Another important thing, is to get to the point of the post. It is no use wafting on about something that is not relevant to your target market. You got them there, now keep them there! Hope that helped at all :)

Not sure how many this is…

Have opinions about stuff.
Be willing to expose your opinions on the world stage (and be willing to fail and succeed in front of everybody too).
Assume good faith in others.
Suck it up and try to learn when your opinions are criticised – nobody has a monopoly over the truth.
Make the truth your religion.
Draw off others knowledge and link to them.
Try to see the humour in things.
A good heading is crucial.
Reply to emails.
Restrict each blog entry to a single topic.
Make your blog entry on a topic the best blog entry on that topic in the world.
Public nudity brings in traffic…but you gotta think about what type of audience you’re looking for!
