Be updated on your load shedding schedule

LoadAlert, is a website, which has been circulating the website for the past couple of weeks, seems to be a very useful resource.

The website says:

Enter your email and select your area and we’ll send you an email every time the Eskom load shedding schedule changes for that day. Who knows, maybe you’ll manage to bath your baby tonight, cook dinner, watch a movie, or avoid getting stuck in the elevator!!!

About the Service

We are all sick and tired of load shedding.
The government tells us it’s going to be around for the next 7 years.
Let try to plan our lives around the power failures.

It’s a great idea, obviously many people are going to worry about the possibility of the website being a spammer, but if that’s the case, then just use a separate email address :)
