I’ve been offline, no jokes!

Hey iModders,

After a week of literally no sleep and TONS of work, I decided to get offline for the weekend. Friday afternoon at around 18h30, I left the office and decided to relax a little. I’d made plans to go for drinks with Fe, Dani and Morne, so later in the evening, the four of us raced through to Fire & Ice for some relaxation and drinks. Each and every time I go to Fire & Ice I seem to hear or see something new and extreme! The place is most definitely now in my top five places to go and to be seen ;) A couple cocktails and some great conversation saw a fantastic evening come to and end. Afterwards I went back to Fe’s place for a coffee and a smoke on the balcony, it was so hot that we managed to chill outside and just peace out for a while. After that I went home and then ended up not being able to sleep, so I pulled into Stones in Obs for a game of pool with Ian, Hannes and Chris – a couple games of pool and a jack and lime and I was ready to hit the sack.

Saturday morning arrived and I was up and out by 8h30 – Destination one being Sounds Dynamic, as I needed to have a sound install done and didn’t have the time to do it myself. The guys at Sounds Dynamic always do the perfect job and I’m totally stoked with my bass that oozes from my car! By the time the sound install was done, it was already lunch time and I had a lunch date with Renee, so I raced through to her and enjoyed some delicious snackwiches! Post lunch, we headed through to a girl friend of hers place in Muizenberg for a braai. Her friends place is gorgeous, located away from all noise, with the most beautiful views of the beach, it was as if we’d gone away! Stunning braai, great conversation and TONS of laughter made for the perfect night. I was home by 22h30 and in bed just after 23h00 – what a pleasure. I think that’s earliest I’ve been to bed in 3-4 years!

Today, I was up late, I think I tackled close on 12 hours of sleep, fantastic! I did my usual Sunday mission – Ladies Mile Engen for a fresh donut and now I’m back waiting for a family braai which should commence shortly – I tell you one thing, the smell from the kitchen is amazing! This evening I plan on heading through to Camps Bay for a cocktail while the sun sets!

All in all it was one of the most fantastic weekends ever! I’ve got a little secret to share with all of you, but until I have a second to prepare correctly, you’re unfortunately going to have to wait in anticipation :)

Hehe, and I bet you’ve been doing as much driving in your new car as possible hey!

Sounds like a good one, it’s always good to get offline. I’ve only really been online a bit yesterday morning to do some blog work, and other than an hour or so early this a.m before Arnold’s, I plan to get some work done now as quickly as I can and then get offline by late this afternoon.

Enjoy the rest of it hun! :-)

Ye babe, getting offline is wonderful, I love being online, but now and then a weekend off does a world of wonder for a person. This evening I will be online a lot getting some things set and sorted for the week to come :)

Hope to catch up with you later, lunch time for me!
