Chris, have you used the Vox service, or are you involved?
It’s got an interesting list of stats, but I’m interested to hear how it actually works in the field.
I’m also interested in the features offered by YakYak.co.za, but I’ve heard that our internet speeds don’t quite cut-it yet.
I am not involved in the service, but was around for when they were looking into it and deciding on software, etc. They have been working on the system for a very long time already and the decisions they made based on partners and things were catrefully thought out. That’s about all I know ;)
Ye, it’s always going to be a problem here when it comes to anything happening over the Internet. Businesses on big, powerful lines will manage, but home users will have to wait a while before our lines can handle transmission speeds required for a good phone call..
