My monthly Adsense cheque makes me grin!

As most of my regular readers know, I’ve always played a little in the affiliate/online marketing space and it’s come to a point where I receive an adsense cheque every month for my efforts. It’s always exciting to receive the cheque in the post and see whether it’s that much more than the last one; Each month I challenge myself to beat the previous one and so far it’s working!

    hhhmmm…
You need to make a list of 3 ppl who contribute to your blog the most and treat em to lunch on these cheques each month!

It’s really surprising that ppl STILL think that making money online is brain surgery.

Hehe, I see where you’re going with this. I actually have an idea about something very similar, which I’m going to try and roll out mid flight threw this month, I think you’ll like it :)

Agreed, there’s nothing tricky about ‘making money online’, but there is something tricky about ‘making lots of money online’ ;)

Not problem with that at all! If I had to comment on every blog I read, it would take 5x as long to get through all the reading :)

Ah, nice cheque mate! I tell you one thing.. as the months go by, they grow :)

thats pretty cool Chris. Ive just been thinking about removing my AdSense code from my sites because I earn about 1 cent per month. Mind you I am only getting about 500 unique visitors per month so no big deal traffic wise yet.

Personally, I find Google Adsense on websites repulsive so usually never (NEVER!) click on them. Especially when marketers go and slap them inbetween every second paragraph in their blog posts.

But it is interesting to know that there are in fact loads of people that do click on them :) SO I shall continue and hope for the best.

Yeh, Adsense doesn’t generate much income unless you get a huge amount of traffic or it’s placed incredible well relative to the users movement on the site.

Here’s something to think about.. if people are paying to have their websites shown, they must believe in their websites or it would be like spending money for nothing, right? So next time you’re looking for something, actually click an advert ;)

Got something to say? Go for it!
