Reskin your Gmail in 3 simple steps

As I’ve said a number of times, HoTsTePPa releases articles which are usually full of useful information and upon reading my RSS feeds this evening, I came across a blog post about skinning Gmail!

The process is as simple as this:

  1. Add the Stylish plugin.
  2. Open this link.
  3. Look for a little notepad in the bottom right hand corner of your browser, right click, select ‘Add Style to Stylish’

That’s it! Now you’re browser can look as cool as this:

How cool is that?!

    Ooooh, I am imagining all sorts of pink in my mailbox. :-)

    Coolest part is that the design over-ride is done on your pc, so it does not affect the performance of GMail at all. Its also easy to undo or customize using standard CSS.

    @Rox – haha, dare I say typical ;)

    @HoTsTePPa – Agreed, the fact that performance is exactly the same is wicked! This is one of the best finds I’ve seen in a very long time, well done! I hope you get some decent traffic from this post bud.

    I now just need to get my Logo back to the top, might not be too hard :)

    Hehe, good fun hey? It’s now time to develop my own CSS style to adapt :)

    I just posted another cool GMail “fix”! This time its about HTML email signatures!

  7. Chris M says:

    Ah ye, I use HTML signatures – one word of warning, this won’t work in FF3 though :)

Got something to say? Go for it!
