So last night I was completely unsure what I could do and was planning on getting a DVD, some take aways and just chilling for the evening, well, that was until the lovely Rox decided to GTalk me and convince me to head out for some drinks. I grabbed some stuff, straightened my hair and headed off to collect her, destination one was Extreme Hotel. After a couple drinks and some chillax, we decided to make some phone calls and ended up heading through to Neighbourhood to meet up with Peter and Richard.
A couple more drinks, a tequila and some fuss ball put us in a happy place and we decided to head back to a Cape Town flat for a glass of red and some chatting. It was really great to catch up with Rox, it’s been a while since we hit town together, all in all, awesome.
I fetched Fe around 1am and we ended up heading through to Buckleys (Yes, I know) to meet up with Chris. It’s been MONTHS since I saw his sorry ass, so it was massive hugs and more alcohol all around. We were there for about an hour and decided to retire for the evening, it had been a really long night. Upon arriving home, we decided that some munchies would be a good idea and decided that Sauls would be a nice idea, so we set forth. Long story short, we ended up driving along Long Street, when all of a sudden the cluth cable of my Fiesta ST snapped! EPIC FAIL. I called Barloworld N1, they put me in touch with Roadside Assistance, where a gentleman named Claude helped me out, incredible incredible incredible service! 35 minutes later, the AA was with me, Eddy explained the whole situation to me, took my car and assured me that everything would be fine. Once again, incredible service. I received a call about 45mins after I met them, with a lady telling me that my car was successfully received by the dealership and that someone would call me on Monday to sort everything out. Despite the horrible situation, the incredible service actually made me forget the negative thoughts – I was very impressed!
A breakfast at Mugged this morning was a really great idea, as it usually is, so today started off on a good note. I fetched my washing from a new laundry that I was trying out – can you believe that each ironed item came wrapped seperately in special paper? I couldn’t believe it, that’s top quality service number 3 of the day!

Dude, that night was the beginning of what can only explained as the ‘party weekend’ of the year for me.
