As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I’ve been blogging more about technology over the past couple of weeks. This was a request from a regular reader and I was more than happy to fulfill his request.
Today, I stumbled across the 3M Mpro110; Putting the fancy name aside, it’s basically just a handheld projector and a pretty cool on at that. This is not a new concept, many other companies have released details about handheld projectors, but none of these companies have managed to launch one!
The 3M MPro110 will be able to display a VGA image at a resolution of 640 x 480 up to 50 inches, it has built in VGA and composite video inputs. The 3M MPro110 is retailing at roughly R3000.00 ($359.00), which is a really great price if you ask me!
Once one company has released one of these, the others will follow shortly, so expect the launch of a number of these and thanks to the competitive nature of the market, I’m sure we’ll see a decrease in price!
Lets hope more mean a decrease in price.

Michael, I’m pretty sure the prices will start to decrease as more competition comes into play, that’s a very normal trend with technology..
