SynthaSite, a startup fresh out of South Africa has won the Industry Standards Award. After receiving a fantastic first round investment, Synthasite has sailed to new heights. With a strong presence in Silicon Valley, the reach is wide and with a powerful team, the goals are reachable.

SynthaSite came up against a number of competitors in their category, such as Meebo, which is one of my old favourites. With over 1 million unique visits a month, SynthaSite has proven to be an extremely valuable tool. Word has it that Synthasite is launching blogging, shopping cart and domain registration functionality. I remember reading a press release about the domain registration, but unfortunately I cannot recall the URL, sorry.
I’m happy to say that I did cast my vote for SynthaSite!
