Travelmate and an alarm clock, hmmmm?

The Acer Travelmate arrived at my doorstep earlier this evening and I’m totally thrilled. Unfortunately I’ve not had a chance to set it up yet, but it will happen tomorrow, hopefully!

Here are the specs:

- Intel Centrino 2 Duo T7500 (2.2Ghz)
- 15.4″ WXGA with Crystalbrite
- 4GB DDR2
- 250GB HDD
- DVD-RW, Bluetooth and integrated camera

Truely awesome machine, nice and powerful, perfect solution for what I do on a daily basis.

Secondly, I got myself this, as mobile alarms just don’t cut it anymore!

Damn it’s got a LOUD alarm clock, sjoe!

So, a laptop and an alarm clock, kind of makes you wonder doesn’t it? ;)

   i got an acer travelmate about a month or two back. celeron chip but with a 17″ monitor. 2 Gb ram and a 160 GB hard drive. real value for money!

   I think you need an Air Raid Siren, Chris, about 10cm away from the ear you won’t be using anymore.

   Haha! This new alarm clock is plenty loud enough, 7h30 this morning I was leaping out of bed to shut the thing up!
