The Forge ordered some fancy kickass Ergotherapy Solutions chairs and we were expecting to only receive them towards the end of the month, when all of a sudden they arrived today! Now, we’re talking TIGHT chairs, with fancy bits and pieces all over the place, it took 15 minutes just to explore them. I can honestly say that my back feels more relaxed this evening!

look, my desk in the background!:)
On the subject of chairs, I came across the The Tibetan knot, which is an endless one, without beginning or end. It is an ancient motif found not only in Tibet but Mongolia and China. It symbolises the eternal interweaving of the Spiritual Path. Designer Richard X Zawitz based his stunning new collection on the Tibetan knot. His three pieces (two chairs and a light) entitled Art, Sky and Sun show his innovative integrated approach. He said, “I finally see the first true marriage between sculpture with furniture and lighting.”

I still think our ones are way cooler! :D

Is that the mid-back chair? Hmm, ive been needing a new one…
i want a desk like that for my new spot.
Hey! Angela here…the physio/sales lady who sold you your chair :)
Glad to hear you love it! And thanks blogging about it..always great to get positive feedback!
any word from the dude that sold u that desk
@blade thats just a piece of wood ontop of two wooden trestles – builders warehouse could probably sort you out
Ye, it’s a tressle on legs, exactly what @Mike said :)
The chair is darn comfortable @Angela, thank you for designing this piece of heaven!
That parquet flooring is very retro, very 60s and those trestle stands have just got to go.
You need some emergency indoor decorating there. Quick call 911, call 911!
Richard, you know that we actually went for the trestle stands after a number of desk solutions were explored :)
No need for the 911 call at all!
Hi there all.
I like the Desk at the back, and seems to be the solution to my problem of not having a desk when moving into my new townhouse, where I am also need to consider the space available. As I can gather the trestles are available form Buildings Warehouse, right? and the table top?
Used the chair for a month now @ The Forge and love it.. Checking it out for myself now :P
I’m stoked that I’ve got one in the office and at home, best decision ever. Cannot put a price on knowing that your back is in good “hands” :)
Hi Chris
May I ask what that chair costs approximately?
@Marko – You’re looking at about R2,500 mate..
Thanks Chris, that’s a pretty reasonable price!
It’s a lot less than I thought, I honestly thought it was closer to R4,000 :)
I didn’t buy mine, the office did, so I got a shock too :)
