Allied Intent Xtended Battle Field 2 mod!

AIX is the premiere single player and co-op mod for Battlefield 2! Updated on the 22nd of November, there’s tons of new things, including a fantastic 30 map pack!

imtheheadhunter has done it again! Get ready for a huge map pack to compliment AIX 2.0 featuring some of your favourites and a couple of new ones, all taking advantage of the AIX 2.0 features and content! There are 30 maps included in this pack and they of course all feature 100% single player and coop support.

You can download the client files or the server pack. We setup a server install on a laptop at A Cape Town Flat by Chris M and then installed the client versions on our machines so that we could play locally against an assortment of bots. The reason we setup the server on a laptop is because running everything from your machine will result in huge lag unfortunately.

As you can see, there’s some great action to be had, I’d say that if you’re a Battle Field 2 fan, give it a go, it’s something new and exciting!

There is a group of us trying to get it running on one of the servers at SGS. Hopefully somebody will come through for us.. Game is pretty chunky, with a ton of new things. Worth playing though.

Got something to say? Go for it!
