Super Serial Gamers Battle Field Clan

So a few weeks ago I joined a Battle Field II clan, Super Serial Gamers, as I have started to get into the game a bit more than I usually do. Ian had recently joined and mentioned it to me and that’s how I got involved.

I spoke to pipebombseun101, bunnyZors and TheVovo, who are the admins of the clan and I was soon accepted with a lovely warm welcome. SSG started in March 2008 and last year they were deamed as “the most surprising clan” and ended up 6th in the country, which is damn good going for such a new clan if you ask me.

We all hang out in a private chat and I have to admit that the members are really awesome and not only focus on gaming, but we have some really interesting conversations which are completely off topic. Most of the members are of a decent age, so it’s not a kiddy filled clan, but rather mature students and daily grind people.

I’m currently the 16th ranked person of 24 members, which is cool as I thought I’d be right at the bottom. What has totally surprised me is the number of hours some of the members have put into the game, it’s incredible. I played quite a bit several years ago and racked up quite a few hours, but only the last 50 hours or so have been played seriously. I’m now sitting on 268 hours and some of the top members are sitting around 800-1000 hours.

I’m slowly starting to learn the way of the clan and we have an inter clannie match coming up soon, which I’m really excited about.

    I agree 110% man, BF2 FTW.. I was addicted for a while too. Then work became a bit hectic and my addiction had to take a back seat.. But i know exactly how you feel and clan games make the experience way more intense :)

    Ye, it’s a radical game. I’m not playing as much as I was, unfortunately just got too busy with work related things.

    We have the AGASA league coming up any day now, can’t wait!
