A quick and easy blogging tip which draws your users in

This evening I was looking at my blog and a number of other blogs. Whilst doing so, I remembered a little blog tip I thought about a few weeks ago, which I am going to be putting into practise.

Here’s the tip:

When you write a blog post, on the 4th or 5th line of your post, bold a sentence, which will allude to the topic of the post as well as entice the reader to read it.

When a user arrives at your blog, most of the time it’s not on the home page, but rather on single post pages via search engines. The first thing a user sees is the title of your blog, then the title they were interested in and then a whole lot of text. Lots of text scares people, so it’s hard to get your visitor to read futher, so by adding a line of bold text a few lines down, it will draw their eyes deeper into the post and will hopefully engage them into reading on.

Give it a try :)
