Tracy, I think you’re right about the LHS of TV (left if you’re facing it, right?), the air conditioner needs to find another place to live and that would provide a nice amount of space – I’m really liking your suggestion here!

My knowledge of plants is fairly limited, so I would need to go to the nursery and explain the environment – finding a pot is going to be another story all together, unless they come in trendy pots :D

What I also like is that if it’s a biggish pot, it’ll be heavy and the crazy wind won’t affect it too much.

Hey Chris.

The left hand side of the TV area is just crying out for a large floor standing plant IMHO (where that aircon thing is). Plants are important for indoor air quality and a healthy lifestyle.

Another suggestion, hide some of those wires.

Anyway, just my 2 cents worth.

You reckon? I don’t know, the interior is extremely modern and too many plants might not “fit” with it.

What would you suggest in terms of plants and positioning? Bearing in mind, tons of wind and not too much sunlight..

Regarding your lighting problem I’ve got the ultimate suggestion for you. Ingo Maurer is the man who creates the most stunning, timeless Light-Art on this planet (forget Italian design!). I’ve seen him and his creations on some shows he is an amazing creator! The downside is he’S fu***** expensive too. But consider it an investment your children will love you for when they inherit it ;P

@Rox – The cushions indeed, but the unit under the TV was delivered today :) I still need to go to Eagle Lighting on Long like you suggested, perhaps next Sat morn.
