I am now the proud owner of a Lenovo S10 IdeaPad

I’ve finally managed to find some time to get onto this, as you all know, I have to taken things slower than usual, so please excuse this for being a couple days late.

Introducing the Lenovo S10 IdeaPad..

What a joy!

I’ve been needing one of these for a while now and finally I have got one thanks to The Forge Web Creations who sponsored this fantastic piece of equipment!

A quick look..

The machine is powered by a 1.6Ghz processor and 2GB RAM, it has a card readers, USB ports, 160GB HDD, Bluetooth support (I used that to grab these pics off my mobile) and it even has a webcam built in. Now, I’ve got to say, I didn’t think it would run too fast, but it actually flies, so I’m very impressed!

If you’re keen on getting one of these, please feel free to contact The Hardware Handyman – He organised this one for me at an incredible price and delivered it :)

  1. We’re really glad you’re loving the machine. The S10e complements the rest of the Lenovo range and I have no doubt that you will enjoy the user experience to no end. Kind regards, Monique de Klerk (Lenovo Marketing Manager)

  2. It’s an awesome little machine Chris! I think we should perhaps get a couple more in the office, to make us all more mobile …

I just need to get my one now.
Maybe The Forge can sponsor me a Dell Inspiron Mini 9.

Rocking! A colleague of mine had his Aspire One here today. The casing and keyboard, I’ve found, make a huge difference in usability. I’m sure this Ideapad is every bit as good ;)

Now I need to get me a new one. My dad’s inhabited the old EEEPC, and I’m feeling that urge to buy new toys again. Argh!

Hey. It’s pretty! LOL. Nicely done, mate. Welcome to the wonderful world of extreme portability! Expect glares of envy from the old guard (it’s a perk!). :)

I’m really enjoying it, lying on the couch right now replying to comments :)

The keyboard is really small though, so if you plan on doing serious work, you might find it a little annoying, but then again we adapt, don’t we?

The WiFi is great, connected without any hassle and the range is quite wide, which is useful.

So far so good, no problems yet!

Got something to say? Go for it!
