Reggaeton

I tell you, I love salsa music, but when it comes to tunes which I really love dancing to, it’s the reggaeton style, which is a very much deeper beat, touch of hiphop, kind of salsa music – If I can even say that!

The style of dance is a bit different, I would say that you need to get a little lower, deeper, dirtier and in general you have to think a little harder to match the beats onto a normal quick, quick, slow :)

I found it really hard to find some tunes to showcase this style, but here are several:

   diggin’ on that reggaeton, a friend of mine went to Tumaco a few years ago and made this crazy documentary about the music…really mad stuff, especially the lyrics…Master boys with their ‘wife’ song is hilarious… http://laguayabita.blogspot.com/2007/04/baila-negra-del-trasero-grande.html
