DOLCE & Gabbana public relations director Ali Wise is in hot water. The blonde-about-town spent Monday night in jail after being arrested on felony computer-hacking charges. “She was held in a cell with no special treatment before being released and arraigned the next day,” says our source.
A spokesperson for the NYPD said Wise was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on Monday for using a “computer to unlawfully engage in wiretapping, for eavesdropping, and for computer trespassing to commit felony,” but did not say whose computer she was allegedly hacking. Page Six readers will recognize Wise’s name for her tumultuous on-again, off-again relationship with hotelier Jason Pomeranc, who runs the Thompson Hotel group. Neither Wise nor Pomeranc could be reached for comment.
Quite interesting indeed and not really surprising if you ask me. I can only imagine how many direct media people are involved in scams, hacks and so forth, it’s all about getting the latest news and inside scoops first and in such an industry, after a number of years, cutting corners would start to appeal to most people.
I, however, wouldn’t really call this hacking.
She could hack/wiretap/evesdrop on me anyday!
