Fly Fishing Basics : How to Tie a Fly to a Fly Fishing Line

As I’m new to fly fishing, I’ve spent some time doing some research as to how it all works. Last time I showed you a video on how to cast when fly fishing and this time let’s take a look at tying the fly to the line..

After my fishing trip to Rusty Gate, I can’t wait to get out there again and give all these new things a go!

  1. Try this site for some really cool, animated fishing knots

I bass fish, I use a certain knot which very easy but cant seem to find it online, makes changing fly’s and lures a lot easier, will keep looking,

Very cool link Kerry! I’m not too clued up on knots, I use a simple one I learnt when I was a child, but it’s not ideal for changing lures and fly’s as you said. I really need to book a weekend away to do some fishing, I was given a whole lot of fishing gear for my birthday several weeks back and I’m yet to test it all out!

Got something to say? Go for it!
