Gamecom 367 – The ultimate gaming headset

Afrigator recently ran a competition, which entitled 5 lucky bloggers to win a R500 mimoney voucher and I was one of the lucky 5 to win!

I’ve been using a terrible headset to do my Battle Field 2 gaming and I’ve been meaning to get myself a proper set for quite a while now and thanks to mimoney, Afrigator and Kalahari, I was able to get the set, for free!

You ask yourself, “What is Mimoney?”

mimoney is a new method of payment for people who want to shop online but do not have a credit card – or do not wish to use their credit-card details online.

You can use mimoney to pay for goods and services you buy over the Internet and at mobi sites on your cellphone; as well as via call centre and in-store retail partners.

mimoney, is an electronic payment voucher that is simple, easy to use, and truly secure. You don’t even need a bank account to become a mimoney user.

Let me introduce you to the Gamecom 367..

Now tell me that those aren’t some serious bad boys?!

    I have the Gamecom 777′s and they are really nice for sound but are very uncomfortable for long periods of gameplay.

  2. Arné says:

    wow – that is a beast, and priced good.

    @jon – Interesting! Well, I’m not a huge gamer, so I’d imagine I’ll be ok, but we’ll see :)

    @ArnĂ© – Ye mate, quite crazy hey! I’ve always used the R35.00 set!

    I used to use the R35 headsets, untill I played with a friend of mines headset. The difference was amazing. I could almost hear the people coming up behind me in the game. I now have a proper logitech headset, and I’ve never looked back.

  5. Craig says:

    Chris, if Jon speaks any truth and you get uncomfortable at any time during your gaming session, I suggest you take them off and give me a shout, I will take them off your hands in SECOND! lovely prize to win my man, im pretty sure you will enjoy the gaming a little more now :)

  6. Nice, but no USB connector, so no sale here. I found plugging my earphones in a mission when I was using two stereo plugs. A USB headset is sooo much better, Chris.

    This is the one I got in July this year:

    and it’s under R400. They are so comfortable, I can wear them the whole day without feeling ear fatigue.

    The picture doesn’t do them justice. They are really nice to look at and have a real quality feel about them. I love Logitech products!

    I’m really stoked that I’ve ordered these, I’m tired of the cheapos that I’ve been using and I can just imagine how much clearer everything’s going to sound – So @Robert, does that mean you approve of these? I know you know your hardware!

    @Craig – Lol dude! Where’ve you been?!?!

  8. craig says:

    hahahaaha, working working working, half the company away on conference so doing double the load… im not complaining but its going to be nice to have weekend away this weekend!

    Hope you’re well dude… but seriously, dont forget if you have any trouble with these headphones, swing them my way to test out ;) hahhahahaha

    Shame man, I know that feeling very well, holding down the fort!

    Ye, things are good my side, incredibly tired today, but I’ve got a pile of work, so I’m going to try and zone into that and hopefully the hours will move by quickly :)

Got something to say? Go for it!
