Hey folks, watch out for this email from safetytips@fnb.co.za – it’s most definitely a scam!

I’m seeing more and more of these scams and I can’t imagine how many people end up falling for them :(

GMail fortunately throws it to the spam can and when you visit the website, Firefox throws up a warning – So if you want to avoid these things, I advise that you look into using GMail as your email system and Firefox as your browser.

FNB update scam. I received one and I don’t have an FNB account. I also received a few from ABSA but I don’t have accounts with them too.

  4. Chris M says:

Ye @George – I receive ABSA ones all the time and I’ve never done anything with ABSA :/
