Google Maps South Africa

Today, Google launched Google Maps for South Africa, which is going to allow us South Africans to easily find our way around the country without using the old outdated system!

Google Maps South Africa is still in beta mode though, so don’t worry if you run into a few problems, I’m sure they’ll all be ironed out fairly soon. From my initial testing, I’ve managed to find everything I was looking for fairy easily.

PS. Something else you should be looking into is Google Maps Mobile, which will give you Google Maps on your mobile phone :)

   Hello, I’m trying to get the map that shows the buildings but keep ending up on the street map, cool as it is I want the buildings like you have above with the CT flat. Any ideas?

   I think you’re looking for Google Earth, and not Google Maps?
