Holiday spirits bring the Tequila Sunrise

Summer’s here again and so it’s time to take out those liquidizers and start testing out some cocktail recipes!

Today we’re going to look at a simple recipe, The Tequila Sunrise. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Ice
  • 30ml Tequila
  • 120ml Orange Juice
  • 7ml Grenadine

Grab your ice and fill the glass; Poor the tequila onto the ice followed by the organge juice; Finally, poor the grenadine into the center of the glass slowly and serve.

You can style it up a little with a slice of orange, cherry or even one of those paper umbrellas.

  1. Oh man – every time I hear the word ‘Pina Colada’ my stomach turns south. My ex-business partner got a ‘cocktail’ kit as a Christmas present last year and we made pina’s with it. Suffice to say – our New Year’s party came to a crashing halt after the first one. Apparently he got creative on the instructions and where it said ‘white spirit of your choice’ he used something of everything in the liquor cabinet. I have NEVER gotten so drunk from ONE cocktail man. It was bad.

Hahhahahha! I must admit, there are quite a few cocktails which have been abused on my side, so I can relate to your experience. Lol, what a classic story to tell the kids though :D

Actually – we have it all on video. For obvious reasons we don’t play the video often though…
