Solar powered LED garden lamp

My Dad’s a huge fan of little lamps that go in the garden and are powered by solar power – He has a number of different ones in his garden and they’re really attractive to be honest.

SolarBulb is exactly that – A modern solar-powered lamp for the garden (weatherproof). To be honest, I think it could work indoors as well based on its design. It’s recommended use is as a night lamp, mood lamp, hallway light, childrens night light, garden lamp, door lamp, shoe cabinet lamp. The SolarBulb screws onto any standard 28mm bottlenecked plastic beverage container:

Pretty nifty ey?

It uses just one high output LED bulb, takes 4 hours to fully charge and then remains illuminated for 5 full hours.

Once fitted, this is what it looks like:

Each unit retails for $24.99, however if you buy a couple you’ll pay just $69.99 for both, or $100.00 for three. You can buy them here.

These are awesome little buggers, would love them in my garden. Chris do you know if you can get them locally, more specifically in Cape Town or do you have to do an internet order only?

    :)

My father has a bunch of solar lights, they’re not the same as these, but they’re quite rad. They come on at night, obviously, and they morph from colour to colour, so from red to yellow to green to blue to purple to red :)

I think the old man’s away at the moment, so I’ll see if I can track him down and get you some details, my guess is that they are from a nursery..
