Gmail Priority Inbox #GTD

Are you an email power user? Do you use Gmail? Well, the good news is that those people using Gmail will now have access to Gmail’s latest addition – Priority Inbox!

I won’t bore you with words when I have a video to share with you, but in short – Priority Inbox is an intelligent system that learns the way you do email and assists in organising your inbox in the most efficient way.

Take a watch:

Can you imagine how much time you’ll save, once you’ve trained the software for a number of weeks/months?

I haven’t tried it out yet, I’ve been meaning to do so all day, but I just haven’t had a gap, so I’ll update when I’ve tested it and will let you know if it’s something I’m going to you and whether I’d say it’s worth you using it.

If you’ve given it a go, please don’t hestitate to let us know!

  1. It’s not available yet for me.

It sounds like it’s available for people who are running Google Apps for Domains, and will probably only be rolled out after that for all of us..

Update: Someone in our office has GPI enabled now, it looks incredible and it’s something I can’t wait to use, hope mine clicks over soon!

    I’m still waiting :.(…

  5. Got mine this AM. Busy taming email.

  6. Chris M says:

I got mine too, absolutely loving it. Google screwed up with Wave sooo badly, but Priority Inbox is completely the opposite, pure genius :)

  7. Google Wave failed because it tried to replace email. Email can’t be replaced, but it can be enhanced.

Gmail is the first webmail system that I enjoyed using and that enhanced the email experience.

Incremental updates are easier to integrate into one’s life. Radically new things face an adoption battle.

I can honestly say that I feel more productive already!

Got something to say? Go for it!
