A quick look at the RedBull Mobile [video]

Received a RedBull Mobile yesterday and have been playing around on it a bit here and there. The device is powered by Google Android and it’s the first time I’ve had a chance to play with Android, and I’m quite impressed. I must admit, I do need more time to play around with it to really get a proper understanding of what’s possible, but I’ve enjoyed what I’ve seen thus far. Anyway, I wanted to put a short video together so you can all see what the device is like. Please excuse the quality, I used my iPhone in a fairly dark office..

Pretty cool device, I’ll keep you all posted as I explore further :)

    I had a chuckle too :)

I’ve got the iPhone 4 now, so I can take some better pics of the Android and will update the post accordingly. The Android’s a rad device, I have to give RedBull kudo’s!

So you have an iPhone 4, a RedBull Mobile AND a Puma phone!? Seriously!?

  4. Chris M says:

    Hehe, amongst others :P

Well, I gave a friend who didn’t have a phone a little Nokia and my old man’s broke a couple weeks ago, so he’s using the Puma phone because he travels, the solar panel is ideal.

The Android I cannot give away, they have asked me to use it and the iPhone 4, well, that’s my baby :)

Aah to live a life of such luxury! I am stuck with a failing 5230 that is faster than a donkey’s arse being propelled by a rocket going into space. Please note the slight amount of sarcasm in use there. I am tempted to start to send letters on actual paper using pigeons instead of sms’s from it.

    Are you on contract?

  7. James M says:

Yea I am. Got a contract with Virgin Mobile. Still got 12 months to go on it, but my nokia 5230 is now driving me crazy. I answered a call the other day and it just rebooted in the middle of the call!

  8. Chris M says:

    Ah, still 12 months :(

Got something to say? Go for it!
