Google +1 Button on your website

Google announced Google +1 a couple weeks ago and there’s been a lot of coverage around the scenario, a lot call it the rise of social SEO. I’m still undecided as to whether it’ll work, Google’s tried to enter the social scene a lot of times, just think about Google Buzz, Google Wave, Google Answers or even Jaiku. How many of these services do you still use?

Well, one thing that is crucial when it comes to these services, is the ability to allow bloggers and website owners to place buttons on their websites. Just like everyone does for Twitter, Facebook, Digg and so forth, so will we all want to with Google +1. But, there’s a problem, Google hasn’t provided buttons yet and from what I’ve read, it could still take a few months! What?!

If you do want a +1 button and don’t mind waiting, then the best step is to sign up to get notified when they are released, you can do so here: https://services.google.com/fb/forms/plusonesignup/

I would have thought this would have been one of the first things Google would have developed, I guess they must have a plan?
