Mail Pilot – Redefining email, Kick Starter Project

A really hot Kick Starter project (Mail Pilot) has raised enough money and support to start going into production. Two youngsters (Josh Milas and Alex Obenauer) have redefined the way they feel email should work and to be honest, I think it’s really brilliant.

Mail Pilot is a cloud hosted service that works with native applications for the iPhone, Android devices, Mac, Windows and Linux. The software grabs your emails and just displays them in another way. The best way to understand this is to watch their video:

Josh and Alex wanted $35,000 and have gone way past this and raised $53,110 from 1,578 backers! There’s 8 hours left of the Kick Starter and then they’ll go into development – incredibly exciting for these two guys, stoked that they’ve raised the money because this really does look awesome!

Here are some screens I picked up:

I’m forever telling people “Email my the requirement. If it’s not in my inbox, it’s not going to get done. My inbox is my to-do list!”. I hope this takes off, I’d definitely use it!

Got something to say? Go for it!
