Presenting Sponsorship as a managed marketing investment

It started few years back when we were running this event management website, funpiper and barely meeting our ends. Surprisingly, we came across various people and organizations looking for sponsorship whenever we reached out to them for using our platform for managing events.
Guess what? We decided to do some research and see if there are platforms out there which caters to the need of sponsorship in a very cost-effective manner. Mind you, the sponsorship seekers included communities belonging to students, non-profit organizations and also individuals looking for funding for fulfilling health needs.

To our surprise, on one end, we found country-focused crowd funding websites, and on the other hand, there were sponsorship websites asking for fees for listing the sponsorship proposals. However, we strongly felt the need for platform which could cater to countries from Africa, Asia etc. This is where we started rebuilding funpiper.com and re-launched as sponsorship website 4-5 months back.

Who are our prominent users?

These are users, organization from Africa, Asia. Off-late, we have been receiving various different requests from our African user community belonging to countries such as Nairobi, Togo, Dar es Salaam, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya etc. We have been delighted by response from users from Africa who have been actively using platform to post their sponsorship requests on our website. These sponsorship requests primarily fall in one of the follow categories:

  • Charity
  • Student
  • Visa
  • Events

We have been partnering very recently with various different African companies such that we can connect the sponsorship seekers from various different countries from Africa to these companies. Be aware that these companies are looking forward to connect & engage with target market by sponsoring various different events. They are also looking forward to leverage these events for gathering user feedbacks for their new product launches.

That said, we are looking forward to reach out to various different companies and help them connect with their target market and also sponsor the community program and contribute to society.
