I can’t believe how fast this year has gone, to think that we’re entering October in a few days is quite scary to say the least. What it does mean though, and is more exciting, is that WordCamp is upon us in just over a week, October 4th to be exact.
Like the last event, there are some great speakers this year, including some new faces to the talking space, you can read about the speakers on the website. To name a few companies, RSAWeb, Pricecheck and WooThemes.

This year’s WordCamp is shaping up to be a really great event. I’m looking forward to the talks, especially Riaan Knoetze’s talk on Themeshops and Neil Pursey’s talk about Social Media’s effect on SEO.
I wonder what the panel discussion will be about?
@Barend – Agreed, it’s awesome to see WordCamp expanding past just WordPress into areas such as user experience, SEO and the likes. I was asked to talk on the panel, but it looks like I won’t be able to unfortunately. It’s going to be a great event :)
I would love to go but unfortunately work deems that day off as unnecessary as it is not a core part of my job being an SEO. lol. Nice one on the sponsorship
