Heritage Day with its celebratory braais is a few days away. Braais tend to be all about the meat, so I set out to find some non-meaty ideas to extend the braai-chef’s repertoire. I struck gold with Pick n Pay, which has a dedicated braai section on its website.
Aside from the meaty recipes, there’s a page dedicated to vegetables and another to sides and sweets.
For something really unusual, Woolworths’ Taste magazine has a recipe for braaied lemonade.
