How to make honey glazed steak

Sounds delicious doesn’t it? Well, it is and it’s really easy to make.

Mix up some mustard and honey, quantity isn’t important, just go by taste until you’re happy. The next step is to rub the ‘sauce’ on the uncooked piece of beef and then place it in the oven at 180 and cook until desired. I would recommend medium rare.

Remove the beef from the oven and place in a casserol dish. Take the left over honey/mustard ‘sauce’ which has dripped off the beef during the cooking phase and add red wine to it. Once again, the quantity is totally up to you. Place the honey/mustard/red wine combination into a pan and cook it until it forms a thickish sauce.

Drizzle the sauce over the steak and you’re ready to eat! A glass of red wine will go really well with this meal.

How to make a B52 or a blow job

Probably one of the most popular drinks and also the easiest drinks, the B52.

- 1/3 shot kahlua
- 2/3 shot Baileys Irish Cream
- drizzle grand marnier
- Layer Baileys over kahlua and then drizzle Grand Marnier on top.

b-52 shot

It’s really as simple as that! Another very popular shot is the blow job, which is made like this:

1 part whipped cream
1 part kahlua
1 part Baileys Irish Cream
1 part vodka

Layer in order into shot glass. Remember, the whole idea behind the blow job is that you’re meant to shoot it without any hands!

Dash out, get the ingredients and treat your friends to a couple shots next time they pop in.

Clink To Win round one winners

One of the Facebook Applications I was involved with the development and managing of, through FormFunction, was Clink-To-Win. This Facebook application ran a competition giving away many cases of wine to various users and the first round of winners was announced a week or two back, but I came across a blog post showing gratitude, which for me is so fantastic!

Here’s the post:

To start of, I first would like to thank Chris for posting this competition on his blog.

Chris posted about this competition on Facebook whereby you use this “Clink-to-Win” application to invite friends and make toasts and vote for other peoples toasts and hold this competition month-to-month.

This was brought to us by the people from Perdeberg Wineries.

Anyways, then I took part in this competition, and someone actually contacted me from Perdeberg stating that I’ve won.(view this post)

And today when I got home, what did I find ?…72 bottles of wine (variety)
