Who doesn’t want to touch awesomeness? I certainly do and BlackBerry too. BlackBerry have launched an awesome new campaign with some incredible prizes up for grabs and I’m taking part to see if I can win!

The first leg of the contest, which is open to everyone, is rocking the mic! Yeh, that’s right, you rap/sing into your computer (mic-line) and then overlay it on some beats that BlackBerry provides.. I gave it a bash and although my Internet was completely playing up and wasn’t transmitting my outgoing data I did manage to record my first verse, which (heaven help me) you can listen to below:
Ok, so like please don’t laugh at me, I’ve never claimed to be down in the hood with rapping and I’ve got nothing on Cheddar Bomb and the 313:
Here are my rhymes:
So I’m sitting here on the BlackBerry site
Voicing my opinion, you better listen, alright
The BlackBerry Curve is an awesome phone
I’m guna bust this beat into a ringtone
I really wanted to get into it and do a wicked 3 verse piece, but this darn Internet doesn’t want to behave, perhaps I’ll have a chance to try again tomorrow.
Oh ya, and here’s what you can win:

Come on, I challenge you to give it a go, if I can do it and publish it right here for every single one of you to listen to, then you can too!
Click here to show off you skills!
Just when you think you’ve heard and seen it all, someone comes along and does something incredible.
I love how he says he’ll show his face once he hits 50,000 subscribers! With 800,000 views and counting, I reckon he’ll hit that 50,000 mark no problem!
Absolutely loving this tune right now, potential for a summer anthem I say. Use a proper pair of headphones please folks, the bassline’s hot:

Last year I noticed this inflow of chewing gum packages at all the local shops and I even remember blogging about the packaging because, finally, there were chewing gum packages that could fit in a pocket with ease – I’m a smoker, I like having gum with me :)
5Gum is one of the brands that embraced this new experience and delivered their gum in stylish, organized packages – three delicious flavors:

When 5Gum arrived in South Africa, they promised to stimulate our sense with the amazing experiences that incorporated audio and visual brilliance. The promise was met through two exclusive gigs featuring Etienne De Crecy along with an active campaign that saw people submitting their customized, virtual branding projections from all over the world. Take a look at this:
