His latest contribution Footsteps follows the path of its predecessors by being a work of lyrical art. As quoted in the album’s sleeve “Inside this record you will find some of the songs that I have always loved to sing and that inspired me to become the performer and the songwriter I am today. Recorded in the studio with orchestra, band or just a guitar they represent the footsteps that I took on a musical journey that started as a dream and has gone further than I could ever of [sic] imagined.” His career includes 17 studio albums and LP sales in excess of 45 million.

A song, which is getting incredibly popular over the last while is Pitbull’s Calle Ocho. It’s extremely catchy and one of the best parts is that it does have a bassline, which you can salsa to :)
In its first week on the 5FM 5FM Top 40 it hit place 34, I’m sure it’s going to continue to move up the list, and quickly.
We saw hundreds of headlines saying “Micheal Jackson Dead“, and most of them reported that it was due to a cardiac arrest. Craig Harvey, spokesperson for the coroner’s office reported that an autopsy had been performed successfully and results would only be finalised in 4 to 6 weeks. Harrvey did report that thus far there were no signs of foul play.
CNN reported the following:
A car that Murray had parked at Jackson’s home was impounded and may contain medications pertinent to the investigation, said Detective Agustin Villanueva of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Public records show the impounded car was registered to a Texas woman who is an associate of the cardiologist, who works in Houston, Texas, and Las Vegas, Nevada, and is licensed in California.
CNN’s calls to Murray’s office were not returned Friday.
Jackson was in cardiac arrest when paramedics took him Thursday from his home to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where the music idol was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. (5:26 p.m. ET).
In a 911 call released Friday, an unidentified caller told a dispatcher to send help. He told the dispatcher that Jackson was not breathing and Jackson’s doctor was performing CPR on a bed.
Personally, I’m not too sure what to think about all of this. It’s incredibly sad that such investigations need to be done – It must be incredibly hard on Michael’s poor family.

Michael Jackson has died , aged 50, after suffering from a cardiac arrest at home. The legend was raced to UCLA medical center, but no pulse was found on his arrival.

What terrible news. Despite the on going stabs at MJ, he really was exceptionally talented and produced songs, which we’ll never forget. Don’t even get me started on his dancing!
What memories:
May you rest in peace MJ!
So, another track which falls under the reggaeton genre is a great track called Lo que paso paso by Daddy Yankie. It’s very much more commercial, but boy oh boy is it a good track to get down to, per say.
Banging tune!
I can’t believe it – I received a CD with a few salsa songs on when I was doing the latin lovers course and there was one song which basically inspired me to start doing salsa.
To this day I still pump it in my car and a few moments ago, I found the name, I’m like a crazed idiot right now!

I tell you, I love salsa music, but when it comes to tunes which I really love dancing to, it’s the reggaeton style, which is a very much deeper beat, touch of hiphop, kind of salsa music – If I can even say that!
The style of dance is a bit different, I would say that you need to get a little lower, deeper, dirtier and in general you have to think a little harder to match the beats onto a normal quick, quick, slow :)
I found it really hard to find some tunes to showcase this style, but here are several:
I hope you get it :)
