Social Media Stats South Africa 2012

A friend emailed me this via the other day and I’ve only had a chance to really watch it now. It’s an incredibly high-level video so don’t expect deep detailed statistics, but the basics are included and I’m sure there’s a take away for most people who watch it. I wish these videos would go into some more details about verticals and such as that would be really useful.

Nevertheless, it’s only a couple minutes long, take a watch:

Steve Jobs announcing the iPhone

If there was ever a man I appreciated, it was Steve Jobs. His way of doing things was just different, not necessarily the best, but just different and through this difference he managed to build an empire of pure brilliance. Watching videos of him as a youngster and then watching videos of him as a grown man is quite a journey, a journey that is incredibly inspiring.

I came across this video where he announces the iPhone.. if you don’t get chills or feel like shedding a tear when you watch this, then I don’t know:

RIP Steve Jobs, you were truly brilliant.
